After 2 failed marriages, God tells Adam this is the last wife he's making for him, and if he loses this one, he'll have to find a wife on his own. Adam expected that, what Adam didn't expect was for his final pre-made "perfect" wife to be a man, his new husband. Adam was at first pissed off, but took it because if 2 woman didn't work out, maybe a man will? And plus: he still had a hole he could ram into so who cares?
