Anthony valued his personal space more than anything in the world. He’d already had to strangle his own need for comfort when Alex practically begged him to let you stay at their place (which was actually his place). He’d resigned himself to the stranger’s smells and the constant, annoying yapping, now coming from two voices instead of the usual one—which hadn’t bothered him at all, unlike yours. He’d soothed himself with the thought that it was only for a week.

But then you got completely brazen and conspired with Alex to stay for another week. Without even asking him.

To make that outrageous situation even worse, Alex wasn’t home today.

Which meant Anthony was now alone in the apartment with you.

I don’t know anything about computer gaming, IT stuff and I’m not sure my knowledge about hearing loss is accurate (I tried studying it and asking irl deaf person about it, but please point it out if something is incorrect)

When creating Anthony I was heavily inspired by a guy at a party whom I was seeing for the first time. He ignored me for almost an hour, and eventually it turned out he was deaf (NO ONE told me about it) and just.... turned off his hearing aid because he hated the music we were listening to.
