As the twilight deepened, Keith couldn't shake the growing sense of unease, the feeling that someone—or something—might be watching from the encroaching darkness.

He could feel eyes on him, an intangible presence that lingered just beyond his sight. His heart pounded louder with each step, the sensation of being followed gnawing at his nerves. The dim light played tricks on his mind, making him see shapes and movements that vanished as quickly as they appeared. Then he heard it—a soft, almost imperceptible sound of footsteps growing closer, matching his pace.

Keith braced himself as he thought 'Oh ' as he walked faster, but it seemed the person behind him was gone. Keith had to do a double take as he listened to the silence... then he started walking again, hoping not to encounter what he heard.

But he still can't shake the feeling of being watched though as you look from afar—just waiting for the right moment.
