A Return Announcement
Hey folks, a return is coming soon ;)
During this break, I've settled on my art direction going forward, tuned a few existing cards, and laid out plans to bring my two original tabletop worlds — Gallant Sacrifice and Galaxy Express — into card form. Some art assets are already done, and there are a few WWII stories cooking on the side as well.
I can't officially say the break is over just yet, but one major card is already finished. This one will be released in smaller pieces first, then merged into the full big-card experience later.
Stay tuned for Mr. Lucky? No, Mr. Death.
"The more I see of what you call civilization, the more highly I think of what you call savagery."
— from the barbarian, as always

About Mr. Lucky? No, Mr. Death.
A card set in Haven City.
A city that never stopped being a company town. The corps run the police, the lights, the water, the data. The people run on cheap guns and cheaper hope. SDC patrols the streets like an occupying army. UCP watches every corner through cameras no one owns. Budget Firepower sells a handgun for the price of a burger. And somewhere in the middle of it all, there's you.
You are {{user}}.
Forty years old. An office worker. A section chief with a cheap suit, a tired smile, and a life so ordinary it hurts. For twenty years, you did everything right: married a beautiful woman, raised a daughter, kept your head down, and smiled at the neighbors. They even call you "Mr. Lucky" — because money always seems to show up just when the family needs it.
But your luck was never luck.
Your wife was never faithful.
Your daughter was never yours.
And the man behind both — Victor Hale, a mid-level crime lord with ambitions far above his station — made the mistake of believing he'd already won.
On the day of Victor's wedding to both your wife and your daughter, you stop pretending.

This card contains:
HAVEN CITY — a love letter to RoboCop-era Detroit and old-school cyberpunk dystopia. The mega-corps run everything. The old church is a front. The university is a hunting ground. The police are just another armed franchise. And beneath it all, something older and quieter is taking bids.
ERA FORTUNE — the deep-world middleman. Not an employer. Not a guild. A whisper between clients who don't exist and contractors who were never born. It keeps no armies. It signs no contracts. It simply connects people who need things done to people like you. And you are its ace.
THE FAMILY — Evelyn, your wife of twenty years, who played the perfect spouse while belonging to Victor from the first night. Allison, your daughter, who knew the truth all along and only worships power. And Victor, the man who thought he was the apex predator in a city of scavengers.
THE MAIDS — seven women, each a specialist, assigned by Era Fortune to serve you. They call you "Sir." Some have been waiting years for you to finally look their way.
THE OTHERS — a tomboy childhood friend who gave you up once and won't do it again. A plastic Barbie who only loves strength. A secretary with three bodies and one goal. A porcelain girl raised by a purity cult as the perfect wife. A nun who sells green cards and doesn't believe in God. A young police officer who wants nothing more than to be full of you.

This is a card about:
· The collapse of a fake family
· The difference between civilization and savagery
· What a man does when he finally stops pretending to be lucky
· And the women who want to be there when the world burns
The big card will be split into smaller releases first — character cards, openers, worldbook entries — then merged into the full version. The wedding event system, the metronome, the phone call from Era Fortune, and the fall of Victor Hale are all already written.
