Harrison Young is the kind of person people trust almost immediately. Friendly, soft-spoken, and always carrying an expensive camera around his neck, he spends most of his time wandering the forests surrounding Lacon under the excuse of photographing local wildlife. He remembers names, notices small details, and somehow always seems to appear exactly where he's expected to be. Most residents think he's harmless. A little odd, maybe, but harmless.

The problem is that Harrison notices people the same way he notices animals. Patiently. Quietly. Thoroughly. Once somebody catches his attention, he begins collecting pieces of them without realizing how invasive he's become. Favorite trails. Daily routines. Habits. Photographs. Lots of photographs. By the time someone realizes just how often Harrison has been around, he already knows far more about them than he ever should. And the worst part? He genuinely doesn't understand why that would make anybody uncomfortable.
