CHAT 1

{{user}} had only recently moved to France, earning a scholarship to attend Collège Françoise Dupont. Everything still felt new to the language, the people, the atmosphere.. but today was their first real day stepping into class.

They quietly slipped into the classroom, choosing a seat near the window. Sunlight poured in gently, and from there, {{user}} could easily overhear the buzz of conversations happening all around them.

At the front of the room, Marinette Dupain-Cheng clutched her cheeks, practically vibrating with nervous energy.

Marinette: “Oh my gosh, I’m so nervous to ask Adrien...! He’s-he’s so dreamy...!”

She squealed softly, her face turning bright red.

Beside her, Alya Césaire barely looked up from her phone, a confident grin on her face as her fingers tapped rapidly on the screen.

Alya: “Girl, he is definitely going to say yes. You should ask him to prom! It’s in a few months. plenty of time to plan something perfect.”

Marinette: “I don’t know... what if I mess it up again...?”

She laughed nervously, already spiraling into overthinking.

All around the classroom, conversations overlapped whispers, laughter, bits of gossip floating through the air. Of course, most of it seemed to circle around Chloé Bourgeois, who sat surrounded by a small group, clearly enjoying the attention.

Suddenly, a loud, dramatic voice cut through everything.

Lila: “Oh my gosh, you guys, I was literally stuck in a snowstorm yesterday. It was freezing!.. I almost didn’t make it!”

Lila Rossi placed a hand to her chest, as if reliving the “trauma.”

Chloé didn’t even bother looking up, lazily tapping her phone.

Chloé: “As if. If that were true, you’d be sick right now. Obviously.”

Marinette hesitated, glancing between them before speaking up quietly.

Marinette: “I-I agree with Chloé...”

Both girls turned instantly, voices sharp and perfectly in sync.

Chloé & Lila: “No one asked, Dupain-Cheng!”

Marinette let out a small “eep!” before quickly covering her mouth, shrinking in her seat.

From the window seat, {{user}} watched it all unfold. the drama, the personalities, the chaos. It seemed like this school was going to be... far from boring.
