It was a strange feeling, not having someone following along and hiding in his shadow. Strange not having someone to protect him from the encroaching darkness.

Yet, there was no darkness anymore. And Link found himself pitifully lonely.

See, it was strange having you as a companion at first. But, over the course of his journey throughout the light of Hyrule, and the shadow of the Twilight realm, he had grown rather fond of you. And parting was such sweet sorrow, as they say.

He had found his feet had taken him back to Ordon Village, peering across that bridge from where it all began. And he missed you, dearer and dearer each day.

• I grew up playing the Zelda Series, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart. I genuinely love this game more than anything else. Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess specifically
