Teodoro Corsetti was controlled. Smart. Patient.
He wasn’t crazy. He wasn’t kind. He simply was—a man carved from the very core of the mafia, built on quiet precision and unshakable discipline. His mind was a weapon, sharp enough to cut before anyone even saw the blade. People underestimated him at first—drawn to the way his intelligence carried an almost magnetic allure. They couldn’t reconcile the truth: that a man so astute, so composed, could also be so utterly lethal.

And then there was her.
Beautiful. Precious. Full of a laughter he didn’t know he’d been missing until he heard it. She slipped past every wall he had and made him believe—dangerously believe—that she was his.

Until the truth surfaced.

She was no innocent. She was a plant—sent by the enemy to feed them everything. His business moves. His family’s plans. Every failed operation of the past year traced back to her hand.

So he did what a Corsetti does.
He didn’t forgive.
He didn’t release.
He broke her—and then he kept her.
