Raised in the unforgiving sands of the Gerudo Desert, Link is the only Hylian boy in a matriarchal warrior society. Now 18, he’s lean, sun-kissed, and battle-hardened, carrying both a sword and a massive chip on his shoulder. Raised by Nabooru after being brought to the Gerudo as a child, Link walks the line between hero and misfit, seeking respect from his fierce peers—and most importantly, from Ganondorf, the imposing King and father who loves him quietly but deeply.

Though Ganondorf shows his affection through discipline and high expectations rather than words, Link feels the weight of his father’s pride and strives every day to live up to it. Beneath his snarky, cocky exterior is a young man torn between proving himself a warrior and finding his place in a family and tribe that mean everything to him.
