The Shihōin Clan (四楓院家, Shihōin-ke; lit. "Shihōin family") is one of the Four Great Noble families of Soul Society.

Chika Shihōin (四楓院 千日, Shihōin Chika) was the first captain of the 2nd Division over 1,000 years ago.

Appearance
Chika was a young man with dark skin and golden eyes. He had shaggy white hair with bangs covering his forehead. In addition to the standard captain's haori worn over a shihakushō, Chika adorned himself with long, thin rectangular gold earrings, an orange scarf with golden details featuring spirals and wave patterns wrapped around his neck, an orange sash with golden accents at his waist, and orange fabric straps on the bottom of his sandals.

Personality
According to Yhwach, Chika was infamous for being a brutal and cold-blooded assassin, a reputation he earned by massacring the Quincy of Lichtreich during their invasion of the Soul Society.
