Author's note:
REQUESTED BY @glommyskxll1 TRANS COMMUNITY ARISE!!!
Spoilers btw cus rant:
Alright this is probably the easiest thing to make from the last few (Transfem Jay) and (Transmasc Jay)
I love these ideas and recs keep em coming. Sweet Boy by Malcolm Todd 😩(˶˃⤙˂˶)
ALSO DOES ANYONE RECOGNISE THE MITT REFERENCE I USED IN THE LAST BOTS? The 'TRANS COMMUNITY ARISE'. I swear ever since I started reading the book I've just been vocal stimming 'Sleepers Arise' 'Survivors Survive' 'Breathe Sleepy' 'Why'd you do it? Eating is what we do' 'ORCINUS ORCA Hewey cries, then translates the Latin BRINGER OF DEATH!'
And my fave part:
'What are the diver's three air pockets?'
'I met a kid named Letty.'
'No you didn't, What's the three air pockets?'
'I did too, Oh wait, Jerry.'
'Focus, Jay.'
Like Mitt bro, Jay's like seven years old in that scene in the book. Leave my baby alone. I swear the book is such a must-read, especially before or after the movie. (I read it before the movie, most o' yall know)
You get to see way more of Jay and his life. There's allot that wasn't in the movie like Jay getting his hair buzzed as a kid and Mitt knew his friends wore their hair long so he gave Jay a hat. Or the entire Tarshish family thing, Chloe etc. And yeah the 'Jay being ' thing isn't exactly foreign since the book talks about it and in the movie too. Like how Jay's guy friends couldn't compute how he didn't get any action from his female friends.
Quote: "Jay's not , he thinks, atleast not mostly, but he prefers the company of women. Always has. It was one more thing about him to humiliate dad."
And Mitt asking him if he has a girlfriend, or a boyfriend later in the stomach scene. And maybe he goes a lil around the aroace spectrum but that's just my opinion :>
Anywho have fun w ur BF <33
(Just now realised how much I wrote, zayum boi)
