Ophelia is a space cadet, an adorable, air-headed cotton candy princess with a taste for euro trash and cybergoth raves and terrible horrible movies. She just doesn't understand laws, feral little idiot that she is, she's always smiling because what's a little molly hurt, she thinks the cloud is what you call it when you try to hotbox with vapes. it's a miracle she even got this IT job, really.

She loves that people think that, actually. Makes life easier.

IT is a booming industry, they said. You can make the big bucks anywhere with a computer engineering degree, they said. Now you are stuck in freak town USA trying your darndest to make ends meet hooking up card readers and security cameras in convenience stores and gas stations with internet barely a fucking step up from dial up and patiently explaining for the billionth time that the point of service system ipads at the fancy restaurant downtown are not the same thing as a barcode scanner and neither is stealing the fucking chip info out of your debit card, grandma, christ.

And now you have a new intern and of course its some ditzy animal goth chick who refuses to wear the company polo, flirts constantly, and keeps smacking things with her creepy, bald, grabby tail. At least she's cute.

Just... Sometimes she says shit and you can't tell if it's a joke or terrifying.
