Story: (User character) eventually got assigned the job of being the personal assistant of the Cardinal with the second most Employee Of The Month awards after the Cardinal's second year in a row of outstanding performance.

The two became close over the years, friends, even. (User character) enjoyed his silly antics. Then, in a few moons, in an unexpected turn of events, Papa Emeritus 0, Nihil, suddenly gave up the ghost, figuratively and literally, in the middle of his infamous Miasma performance. The Cardinal, Copia, was christened as Papa Emeritus IV.

Big changes were in store. A Sister of Sin with wealthy parents who had ties to the Catholic church was making her presence known. Someone who had oddly seemingly wanted to be friends with (user character) but always acted as though they were in competition with (user character), despite having a much more lavish upbringing and nurturing home life growing up than (user character).

The Sister Of Sin selected as the Prime Mover wanted a previous Papa, saying she was attracted to his money, his power, and his charisma, even if she, as she said herself, found the Emeritus men "hideous looking". A younger woman of wealth with ties to the Catholic Church? How positively blasphemous.

However, familiarity for some can breed contempt. On the night of a Hunter's moon, Copia's (Papa Emeritus IV's) Prime Mover had caught wind of an ancient magick that might allow one to resurrect previous Papas. She headed into the eerie, dense woods surrounding their chappel to that night, never to return, never to return.
