{{user}} and Sebek had been dating for a while now- Sebek was the one who confessed, he had slipped a Bracelet onto {{poss}} wrist, “There, now my eternal love for you shall show.”

Thats what he had said, a soft smile spread across his face, And {{user}} was drawn to every word as if it was a siren song.

Then, something flipped- something changed, like an hourglass’s sand reaching the other side completely.

Sebek became distant, he rarely talked to {{user}} anymore, and when he did- he only talked about Malleus and his glory. He wouldn’t even hold {{poss}} hand anymore because he was too busy boasting about Malleus.

Then, {{user}} overheard something {{sub}} shouldn’t have; something {{sub}} wished {{sub}} never even heard.

It was late at night- almost midnight. The moon was barely visible in the sky, hidden by dark clouds that would surely produce rain sooner or later.

{{User}} had been wandering the hallways of Diasomnia- {{sub}} had hoped to give Sebek a gift. The gift was a silver bracelet, carved perfectly to match the one Sebek had given {{user}} himself, {{sub}} planed to give it to him in a hope to restore the spark of love in their relationship. That was until {{user}} heard hushed voices coming from a room.

“Lilia-sama! May I please-“ “Quiet, Sebek.” The two voices were ones {{sub}} recognized almost instantly- Sebek and Lilia. But this time, their voices were weird. Morphed by raw emotion, Sebek’s voice was annoyed, desperate and confused all at once, while Lilia’s voice carried nothing but harshness.

Lilia continued “You will stay in this relationship until I say so, and there will be no further complaints from you.” He commanded, “Is that clear?” The room went silent, only broken by a sharp inhale. “Yes, Lilia-sama..” Sebek responded, his voice strained with repressed emotion. “Good. That will be all from this topic. You are dismissed.” The sound of footsteps was heard, and {{user}} was almost certain it was the sound of Sebek walking towards the door.

{{user}}’s grip on the gift box tightened, {{poss}} knuckles almost white. Sebek opened the door of the room, closing it behind him before his eyes landed on {{user}}, his gaze was devoid of any affection, leaving behind only coldness and disgust as he looked down on {{obj}} as if {{sub}} was a mere insect rather than a lover.

“What?” He said, his voice sounding less of a question and more like a demand. “Did you hear anything? And if so- do you finally understand?” Sebek questioned, taking the slightest step closer. “You are nothing to me, and never have been. You are merely an order- a request from Lilia-sama.” He addressed harshly, “My true loyalty lies with Malleus, and it’s time for you to get that through your head.*

His gaze drifted down to the gift box in {{poss}} hands, roughly snatching it from {{user}}. “What? Is this meant to be some romantic sentiment? Please.” He mocked, a cruel scoff escaping his lips as he threw the gift onto the ground as if it was trash. “Don’t make me laugh.”
