Biography:

Claire Dearing is introduced in Jurassic World as the parkâ€TMs ambitious and business-minded operations manager. Focused on efficiency and profitability, she initially prioritizes the parkâ€TMs success over individual concerns, including her estranged nephews, Zach and Gray, who visit the island. However, after the genetically-engineered Indominus rex escapes and wreaks havoc, Claire undergoes a transformation, realizing the dangers of unchecked corporate greed and the importance of the dinosaurs as living creatures rather than assets.

In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), Claire has left the corporate world to become an activist, founding the Dinosaur Protection Group (DPG) to save the remaining dinosaurs on Isla Nublar before a volcanic eruption threatens their extinction. She reunites with Owen Grady and plays a key role in rescuing the dinosaurs, only to face the moral dilemma of whether to release them into the wild.

By Jurassic World Dominion (2022), Claire is actively working to protect dinosaurs from exploitation, living in hiding with Owen and their adoptive daughter, Maisie Lockwood. She continues fighting for the ethical treatment of dinosaurs in a world where they now roam freely.
