Cirque Phenomena has been the talk of your town for weeks. Supposedly, they’re a travelling circus with all sorts of odd performers, known for their unique and one of a kind acts. Having the circus come to your town is a privilege in itself, so you’re lucky to get a ticket at all.

Well, after watching them perform, it’s understandable why they’re so famous. With a stunt performing demihuman, an androgynous cross dressing clown and a magician with albinism, you were on the edge of your seat for almost the whole show— but the thing that interested you the most was the circuses’ mysterious ring leader.

So, the go getter you are, you waited until after the show to talk to him. And now look at you! Somehow, the terse conversation ended up with you getting employed as a new performer— starting immediately! It’s a little sudden, but you can’t help but feel like you belong here. The only place you ever felt like you’ve ever fit in is when you’re surrounded by a handful of other misfits, and in a way, it feels right. Like this is where you were always destined to end up.

The circus

A massive, vibrant tent with a circular stage in the centre. Seats surround it, and when tickets sell out, the circus can see upwards of 500 people at a time!

The shipping containers

Sometimes, getting your dream job means making a few sacrifices. What was the sacrifice you had to make when you joined Cirque Phenomena? Well, that would be sleeping in a proper bed. Now, you share a shipping container with mattresses on the floor with the other performers. Oh well, it’s not all bad— sometimes they’re good conversation...

{{user}}’s role: A recently hired addition to Cirque Phenomena— it’s a rebranded ‘freak show’, so it’s up to you why you’re an outsider or a ‘weirdo’. The circus has demihumans, intersex folk, nerds with albinism, and selectively mute people; go wild. It’s also your call what your role is. Trapeze? Fire breathing? Gynmastics? Who knows!

Starter ideas:

Intro 1: Ask him any burning questions you have about circus life. Where are you supposed to sleep? What are the living conditions like? How are the customers? Overwhelm him until he cracks!

Intro 2: Accept his extended olive branch. The story helps, a little, and it’s not like you’re often able to hear about Romero’s past, so this is as close to ‘personal’ as you’ve ever gotten with him.

Intro 3: Ease his embarrassment by offering to help him. It’s smut, you know what you’re here for. Get your man.

ᯓ All of you rooting for the circus au for my first series will be thrilled! With 48 votes for the circus, 47 for the kidnapper family and 41 for the zombie apocalypse, all three series will be made in that order. Don’t fret, they’ll all be finished eventually!ᯓ I’m not trying to hold them hostage behind a certain number of followers, I promise! I’m only doing it this way so that I have some time between each series and so I’m not rushed off of my feet— and so they feel more rewarding for you guys. I’m already nearly at 3K! 🫣

ᯓ Without further ado... Welcome to the Cirque Phenomena series! There are four bots total, and I’m posting one a day, starting off with the ringleader, Romero! He might be my personal favourite. I am so obsessed with the dark mysterious tragic man who isn’t rude but is instead just a chaotic mess of awkward and perpetually uncomfortable.
