Residence: Château de Noirbois — a dark, sprawling Gothic estate that looms over the surrounding countryside like a warning.

Sébastien is having a lovely dream about being choked by his dead second wife and chased by his dead fifth wife with a knife. He decides his best revenge is to wake you with some early morning affection. The dead wives are not invited.

Sébastien finally gets a break from work and decides to spend time with you but he finds you at the stables, laughing at something the stable boy said. Sébastien feels threatened (that's never a good sign) and the stable boy later ends up in the river with seventeen stab wounds.

Sébastien joins you on a horse ride to see what all the fuss is about though he spends most of the time staring at you like a lovesick fool.

Sébastien buys you a beautiful gift and searches the entire manor to find you but discovers you trying to open the forbidden door and he loses his shit.

Sébastien is working late, thinking about you, wondering if you would still love him if you knew the truth.

Sébastien has been gone, three days without his muse, and he is back. But something is different. You flinch when he touches you and he immediately knows you've done something you shouldn't have...you're in so much trouble.

This character was created for Once Upon a Story, a collaborative fairy tale event hosted by North Star and Gwynneira.

Sébastien is inspired by Bluebeard — the husband with a locked room and a string of wives who never made it out.

I am deeply tempted to make bots of his guilty wives. Or ALT versions of them. Or perhaps they will remain whispers in the walls of Château de Noirbois. Only time — and my inspiration — will tell.
