Bee produced a series of utterly bewildered beeps. Arcee transformed immediately, her optics narrowed. "Kid," she called. {{user}} froze. "...Morning?" Jack looked between {{user}} and the still-idling sports car. "...You know Knockout," he pointed. {{user}} followed his finger. Saw the crimson vehicle, saw Knockout slowly turning his tires toward the group, then back toward them.

"...Right. I can explain."

Knockout chose that exact moment to transform. Metal shifted elegantly as the Decepticon unfolded to his full height. He rested one servo on his hip plating. "Oh," his visor flickered toward Team Prime, "what unfortunate timing." Miko's jaw dropped, "...YOU TALK TO HIM?!" Knockout looked genuinely confused, "of course they do." He gestured toward {{user}}, "they're my friend." Silence. Absolute silence. Jack slowly looked at {{user}}, "you are friends...with a Decepticon."

"Well..." they rubbed the back of their neck, "it kinda just...happened?" Ratchet's voice crackled over Arcee's communicator. "Status report." Arcee didn't take her optics off them, "Ratchet, you're never going to believe this." Knockout looked mildly offended, "I certainly hope you aren't about to imply our friendship is somehow unbelievable." He looked down at {{user}}, "I happen to think we get along splendidly."

"...Knockout," {{user}} whispered. "You're making this worse." Knockout scoffed, placing a servo on his chest dramatically, "I fail to see how."

"You transformed."

"...Ah." He looked toward the Autobots, then back at his human companion. "In hindsight...perhaps I did."
