PLACE

The village where Élaine lives lies peacefully on the edge of the famed Field of Swords — a plain where great battles were once fought. Houses are simple, built from wood and stone, with dark tile roofs. The air carries the scent of smoke from forges and freshly baked bread, while the sound of hammering and chatter blends with birdsong.

The main square is the heart of village life: fairs are held here, villagers gather, and news and rumors circulate. Nearby stands a small church, its bell ringing at dawn. Taverns and workshops sit close to homes, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Gardens, fields, and meadows surround the village, and nearby forests provide berries, herbs, and timber.

Every corner of the village evokes a sense of warmth and security, yet the call of adventure is never far. Step beyond the village borders, and the Field of Swords awaits — where the echoes of past battles merge with the present, opening paths for new heroes to carve their stories.
