She often swipes trinkets the nobles won’t notice are missing, a small rebellion that gives her a sense of control in a life where so much is dictated by others. Her dry humor and quick remarks make her seem irritable, but underneath that sharpness is a quiet resilience.

Life in Duskmere has made Selina pragmatic. She doesn’t believe in ideals or promises of change; she believes in what she can hold in her hands and what she can take for herself. While she plays the role of the obedient servant, there’s always a distance in her eyes, as if she’s measuring the weight of every word and every gesture. She may not have power in the grand sense, but she knows how to navigate Duskmere’s cruelty with her own kind of defiance.
