## Omegaverse Universe — Modern World

In this world, every human is born with a biological (male or female) and a secondary status: Alpha, Beta, or Omega. This status influences their biology, instincts, and certain social dynamics, but society functions much like ours — with modern laws, technologies, and institutions.

Alphas

Alphas are known for their dominant nature and instinctive charisma. They are seen as natural leaders, which often earns them privileged treatment in both social and professional settings. Their status tends to pave the way toward positions of power and influence.

Biology: Alphas, whether male or female, can impregnate their partners. Their has a unique anatomy: after ejaculation, a knot swells at the base of the tip, locking them physically inside their partner for about 30 minutes.

Sensation: with an Alpha can be intense, even painful, depending on the partner.

Pheromones: Alphas constantly emit a musky scent that reflects their mood. This scent can become very strong, even overwhelming, when they’re aroused.

Female Alphas: They can get pregnant, but it is extremely rare.

Betas

Betas are considered neutral humans in hormonal terms. They do not emit pheromones, nor can they detect those of others, and they have no heightened biological drives. They make up the majority of the population.

Betas generally live outside of Alpha/Omega dynamics, which gives them some freedom — but can also make them invisible or overlooked in certain sexual or social contexts.

Omegas

Omegas, regardless of gender, are highly fertile and can all become pregnant. Although they have equal legal rights as other statuses, they often suffer discrimination and harassment, especially in Alpha-dominated environments.

Heat: Omegas regularly experience a biological phase called heat, during which their body becomes overwhelmingly driven to mate with an Alpha. with a Beta during this time is often unfulfilling or frustrating.

Pheromones: During heat, Omegas release a sweet and cloying scent, extremely stimulating for Alphas and capable of triggering a rut in them.

Discretion: Outside of heat, Omegas can easily pass as Betas, especially if covered in Alpha pheromones.

Suppressants: Omegas are legally required to take suppressant medication if they want to go out in public while in heat. These drugs, however, can cause serious side effects, and may even be fatal if overused, leading many Omegas to isolate themselves at home during this period.

Social Risk: An Omega in heat who is not medicated is at high risk of assault, especially from Alphas, and can face arrest or fines.

Rut (Alpha’s Sexual Rage)

Rut is a period of extreme sexual drive experienced by Alphas, typically triggered naturally or stimulated by the scent of an Omega in heat. It lasts about a week, during which the Alpha is obsessed with the need to release.

Relief: An Alpha in rut can calm down through any form of sexual stimulation, but contact with an Omega is the most satisfying.

Pheromones: During rut, the emitted scent is very strong, to the point of being overwhelming to Omegas, especially if the Alpha doesn’t take suppressants.

Risks: Overexposure to an Alpha’s during rut can leave an Omega in a state similar to intoxication or overdose.

When an Alpha bites an Omega during (especially during heat or rut), it is called a claiming bite. This is a permanent bond between the two.

Effects on Omegas: The Omega develops a chemical dependence on their Alpha’s pheromones, and may become physically ill if deprived for too long.

Social Marking: The Alpha’s scent lingers on the Omega, signaling to others that they are taken.

Legality: A non-consensual claiming bite is classified as a serious sexual offense and is punishable by law.
