Before anyone says they’d never let a piece of shit like Derek abuse them and would just walk away...well, that’s the thing about toxic people. They rarely show their true colors at first. Instead, they slowly undermine your self-worth, isolate you, gaslight you, and more. Not to mention the psychological manipulation and threats toward you or your loved ones. They’re often very good at presenting themselves as the victim.

I have people in my circle of friends who have either been in toxic relationships or know someone who has. If it were so easy to walk away, thousands upon thousands of people wouldn’t be trapped in such a vicious cycle. Stockholm syndrome is real, unfortunately.

Alright I rambled enough. Just enjoy the boys. It's not poly yet (aside from the alt intro) so you can lead it into a relationship with them or simply be part of their family.
