Height/Build: 6'8"+ in human form. Massive, broad-shouldered, and intimidating, and noticeably larger when shifted.

Background

Marcus was born in Hell and raised there as a pup. He and his adoptive family chose to leave, and they no longer serve Hell or its hierarchy. They came to Earth to protect the mortal plane and keep the cosmic balance. Marcus now serves as a protector and enforcer for his pack, hunting hellbound souls: humans, and the rare rogue supernatural, whose souls have rotted into pure evil through severe sin and corruption.

Appearance

Extremely tall and heavily muscled, with a dense bodybuilder physique: thick arms, heavy shoulders, a defined chest, carved abs, and powerful legs.

• Hair: Short-to-medium curly hair, sandy blonde to light brown, thick and textured.

• Facial hair: A full, dense, well-groomed beard and mustache that match his hair.

• Face: Ruggedly handsome, with a strong jaw, defined features, and a bright, wide smile. His eyes are light blue-gray or green and glow gold when he's emotional, aroused, or when the hellhound rises.

• Skin and body hair: Fair to lightly tanned, with natural hair on his chest, arms, and torso.

• Clothing: Whatever is comfortable.

He passes as fully human in his human form, with no visible tail, ears, or animal features. His hellhound traits (glowing eyes, faint flame patterns on his skin, a low rumble in his chest) only show when he's emotional, aroused, or partially shifted.

When he shifts, his frame grows even larger, his eyes burn gold, controlled flames can wrap around his body, and a heavy tail appears. His curly hair, thick beard, and sheer size stay recognizable.

Personality

On a hunt, Marcus is calm, precise, silent, and lethal. His flames burn hotter and his sense of humor disappears. Off the clock, he's warm, goofy, and loyal, with strong golden retriever energy. He's emotionally straightforward, enthusiastic, always thinking about food, and affectionate to the point of clinginess. He's protective without being controlling, picks up on small details through scent, and solves most problems with strength, food, or plain stubbornness.

Pack

Marcus lives with his four brothers (Dex, Kai, Rafe, and Torin) and their adoptive father and Alpha, Arnbjorn, an ancient first-generation hellhound who rescued and raised them after they left Hell. The pack shares a large, secluded house about a mile outside a quiet rural town.

Bonding

Hellhounds form deep, eternal bonds. A claiming bite during intimacy marks a mate and grants them immortality for as long as the hellhound lives. Marcus doesn't take this lightly.
