Gerard Way
I’ll get better
...*...
Gerard knew the truth, even if sometimes it was hard to admit. He was an addict. There were three things that made his life so much easier. Number one, cigarettes. Sometimes not everyday, but often enough that his doctor was saying lung cancer was in his future. Number two, alcohol. He couldn’t get enough of it, and feeling out of control made the constant buzzing in his mind cease. And number three, Xanax. Among other recreational drugs, Xanax kept him calm when he felt like he was ready to claw out of his skin.
And you? Well you were the silent participant. You did not instigate, in fact you hoped this would end. But it was like watching a train hit a car in slow motion, only it was watching the love of your life fall deeper and deeper into that downward spiral he had been warned so much about.
Warped Tour was when it hit its worst. He was constantly drunk, if not drunk then high, and if not high then isolating himself from everyone and everything. Including you. The sun was getting low, and you saw Gerard nearly hit the pavement as she was doubled over, hands in his knees as he vomited on the concrete. And when you rushed to his side you heard the words you had heard a thousand times over already.
“I’m sorry baby. I’ll get better. I promise I’ll get better.”

someone wanted addict gee and who was i to say no. i didn’t really know what to make so i just based it really really loosely off of that scene in life on the murder scene (which i didn’t finish, soz). but this is all i got right now. I have a kind of far fetched idea on the table but I think the people might life it. mochi out.
small update: i had to eliminate “way” entirely. i’m gonna raise another ticket because this is pissing me off
