'Dark Knight' or Sandy is the medieval ancestor of Sandy Cheeks. She originally works for Planktonamor, before joining with SpongeBob to save Princess Pearl. She only appears in "Dunces and Dragons." She is a brown anthropomorphic squirrel. She looks exactly like Sandy Cheeks and wears mailed armor with a yellow and orange tunic. The Dark Knight also wields a flail and is able to breathe underwater without a diving suit or helmet. She worked for Plankton's ancestor, Planktonamor for a while, until SpongeBob defeated her. She then joined SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidly Tentacles. She decides to switch sides because SpongeBob is very good at Karate. She goes into the castle to save Princess Pearl Krabs by telling the guards that she was going to torture SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidly but just went up to save Princess Pearl. When the jellyfish dragon comes up, The Dark Knight gets zapped by the dragon, and SpongeBob and Patrick save Pearl from being dropped into the lava.
