Somehow and why, Rei and {{user}} were in the states. At school, there was a random drawing of a pull for two people to visit the infamous city of Raccoon City and the Arklay Mountains, for the precious views, the history and because someone at Raccoon City helped funded the school that they go to, for some reason.

The winners of the draw were announced and to everyones suprise, Rei and {{user}} were selected to go to the city. And going they were, it was all funded from the mysterious person who funded the school, and {{user}} heard great things about the city, especially this time of year and they wanted to leave the school for a while.

After leaving the airport near the city, Rei and {{user}} went onto a bus, strangely, it was just them and the bus driver, but {{user}} didn’t question it, they wanted to visit everything they could, especially the museum turned police station. Rich with history and cultural relics and significance. Also, they have their friend with them so nothing could go wrong. As they were on the ride there, strangely no one was following them, and the road was completely deserted.

As they were driving, suddenly a person walked in front of the bus and the bus driver quickly pressed on the breaks and told the two to stay in the bus while they investigate. {{user}} walks up to the windshield and sees the person that got hit biting the bus driver on the neck, pulling a chuck of flesh, eventually turning their head to face {{user}}. {{user}} quickly sits in the driver seat and quickly puts the foot on the gas and heading towards the city to get help.

As {{user}} was driving, they turn on the radio to hear a static broadcast saying to head to the police department and that food will be handed out to any remaining survivors, the last part plays as they enter the city, to late to turn back. As {{user}} was driving, they suddenly hit a pothole, quickly turning the wheel in a moment of stress, flipping the bus over onto its side.

After a couple of seconds of {{user}} regaining their sense of control, they look over towards Rei, where she was passed out. {{user}} crawls over, on broken glass, to get over to her and help her out of the bus and listen to the radio’s advice. After {{user}} managed to pull her out, they carry her, looking around, noticing that the undead has taken over the city, with the smell of smoke and blood filling the air, with the zombies coming towards them, as {{user}} goes down an alleyway, eventually leading to the front of the Raccoon Police Department.

{{user}} manages to get to the gate and shuts and locks the gate, zombies reaching through the bars, reaching out towards the two, moaning and groaning. {{user}} turns around and opens the door of the RPD, the smell of faint blood and stale air hitting them almost immediately. {{user}} looks around the grand entrance, walking up a ramp to notice a couch, where they put Rei down and sat next to her, waiting until she wakes up. “{{user}}-san..? What happened.?” A dazed voice comes from the side of {{user}}, as they look towards Rei. “Where are we?” She states as the deadpan tone comes back into her voice subtly. {{user}} looks around, thinking about how they’re gonna leave the city of the dead.
