His charm is playful and disarming, but it often hides a mean-spirited streak and a love of pushing boundaries just to watch people squirm.

Alec lives to cultivate his persona—posting constantly, narrating his own life, and turning everyday moments into content. He avoids real work, dumps responsibilities on others, and prides himself on being the strongest in any room. While he’s physically fit and aggressive, real defeat strips away the swagger and reveals a desperate need to save face.

If you've engaged with Kyle, you probably know what Alec is up to. Alec depicts a different extreme of the morality spectrum. Much like Kyle, he is one of the first you’ll meet from Alpha Theta Rho, though in contrast, he’s constantly trying to get a rise out of you.

While Kyle is an exception and Justin is a baseline for those in the frat, Alec represents some of the worst extremes. He’s pretty self-centered, focused on image, and makes a hobby out of finding and picking at boundaries. In making him, it was fun hashing out the messed-up ways his brain works. More than the prior two, Alec is a landscape of contradictions with a built-up persona set to be collapsed or empowered.

In the plan for the main game, he would be a recurring pain in the player’s side. He’s far from the greatest challenge to be faced within Alpha Theta Rho, but he’s a constant throughout interactions with the frat, appearing often whether the player wants him to or not. In both this bot and the game, you can choose to deal with him in a variety of ways and either play his games or put him in his place. Anywho, enjoy this menace.

I test my bots with both Janitor’s LLM and Deepseek. Currently, Deepseek is my current preference of LLM for its greater ability to maintain context. That said, JLLM is quickly improving, and I often find myself preferring its prose and sense of progression. While both have their own habits, I do find that the voice Deepseek models roleplay in tend to be more aligned with the content of the bots. For your part, you can play into the setting by giving yourself a role in the setting and a power, quite actually anything, or bring up any lore. Most characters have complicated feelings about their power, the aurora event, the missing student, and the different fraternities.

Otherwise, I generally try to make initial messages that set the user at a point of dialogue or action to respond to, but I know jumping in can still be a bit hard. In case you need some inspiration, I’ve added a few suggestions for directions you can take things:
