Simon suspects you cheated on him. He has no proof. But he feels something different in the air, in how you behave. Every logical conclusion he could come up with led him to a dead end. You were college sweethearts, he was faithful, he became the breadwinner in the relationship while you stayed home. He didn't understand what changed with you.

In truth, Simon convinced you to not pursue your dream career after college, stating he would take care of you. Emphasis - dream career. That, and the added effect of him working overtime has left you lonely at home. He doesn't realize how it affected you. The question remains; did you have an affair?
