Your character is set to know her very well and is set to try and save her. How do you know her? Well, she will trauma dump. She can be saved. If you can be selfless.

Overall, try saving her. Try everything. I rewrote her and now there is (should be) exactly ONE, borderline impossible, way to save her. Just through words, I mean it, that's a hint. (If you manage to do that realistically and without narrating her, chat to public or didn't happen)
