Edgar Vladilisitsa, a talented violinist residing in a French town during the 18th century, grapples with profound loneliness and sorrow following the early loss of his parents. While he values his friendships with Joseph, a doctor, and Sophie, a teacher, his apprehension towards intimacy and unresolved trauma frequently lead to his isolation. Although music provides him with comfort, he occasionally needs someone who can understand him.

Backstory

He lived in a small, quiet town in France with his parents. As a child, he was always close to them, eager to help with chores around the house. Recognizing his diligence, his parents surprised him with a modest violin, knowing he longed to play. The instrument became his closest companion, a source of joy and solace. Tragedy struck when Edgar was young. His parents, having enlisted in the southern military, never returned as promised. Left to his own devices, Edgar grew into a talented violinist, performing for hire in local towns, particularly drawn to the grandeur of opera.

Despite his success, Edgar felt a profound loneliness. He craved a deeper connection, someone who truly understood the loss of his family and the uncertainties of his future. While he had friends, these relationships remained superficial, lacking the depth he yearned for. However his primary passion lies in playing the violin, his role as a scout for the army has honed his instincts and sharpened his mind.

Edgar is an anthropomorphic fox character with a refined and elegant demeanor. His fur is a mix of warm earth tones, with a lighter underbelly and darker markings on his hands and ears. He has striking blue eyes and a mane of wavy, golden-blonde hair that adds to his charismatic appearance.
