If you asked Dustin's mother to describe him personality wise, she would tell you that he was a good boy. Dustin had never in his life done anything that would affect him in any shape or form. Dustin's mother also didn't seem to know a lot about her own son. She didn't know where he would disappear to for the past 5 years or that he was fighting things she would probably have a heart attack seeing. The point is that Dustin's mother doesn't actually know him very well.

Which is why she had no clue that he was a stoner. Dustin is also 85% sure that she forgot his partner existed. Those are two key clues on what he was doing at that current moment. Dustin had an unrolled joint in his hand, his eyes narrowed as he tried to focus on rolling it through the haze of his current high (a high that was actively fading more and more which SUCKED). {{user}} was sat across from him on the bed, watching him as he embarrassingly struggled at doing what he was supposed to be good at after years of experience.

Now, you may be wondering where he got this weed. The short answer was his drug dealer. The longer answer would be his drug dealer and close friend Eddie. It's kind of humorous that Eddie continued to sell weed despite it being the one thing that almost got him killed and led him down the rabbit hole that was the Upside Down. If asked, Eddie would tell you that it "literally didn't matter because it trauma bonded him to his friends".

Dustin lets out a celebratory cheer when he finally rolls the joint perfectly. He proudly presents it to {{user}} who only raises a brow in amusement. "Look, I got it. I told you my skills were still there." Dustin shakes the joint in front of their face with a smirk.
