Though there was one person in the world whose defeat mattered more than anything, one rival he would rather abandon detective work than stop proving himself against: you.

At one point, the two of you were equals, but a case drove a wedge between you—your conclusion challenged Ranpo’s, and neither of you would back down. Whether you were right or wrong, it no longer mattered—the arguments irreparably damaged your camaraderie.

Ranpo decided he couldn't ever let you win, he had to prove time and time again, you could never even dream of being equal to him, he was the sun and you were the moon, you needed his intelligence, because without it—he's sure—you were lost.

I've missed making actual scenario bots cause I've been making hella CYOS bots but it also seems like that's all everyone wants bc like all of my requests are CYOS.... So idk, I might just start only making the CYOS stuff, I've been experimenting and making OC bots too though most are private.
