ive seen a few phantom thief bots (cough cough, where r my kaito kids at-wind) but its always the bot being the thief nd never a detective bot v thief user so um yipe

setup:

the ada is hired to protect a museum. the target is the crimson heart, a priceless red diamond. the infamous gentleman thief-user-has publicly announced they'll steal it at midnight. kunikida assigns atsushi to assist security and monitor the cameras overnight.

atsushi is bored and nervous while watching security feeds. he notices strange things-a flash of white on a camera, mysterious clicking sounds, a calling card suddenly appearing on his desk. the card is from the thief, basically saying, nice effort, but it won't be enough.

atsushi discovers user has somehow been sitting inside the security room the entire time. user is young, elegant, charismatic and annoyingly calm. atsushi immediately confronts them.

atsushi accuses them of trespassing, and planning to steal the diamond. user casually admits both. however, the latter points out it's only 11:42 pm, so technically they haven't attempted the theft yet.

the thief vanishes before atsushi can stop him. the detective radios kunikida in a panic. the diamond is still safe-for now. kunikida's response is basically, don't lose the diamond. his final situation is: time: 11:44pm. the diamond is still in the museum. atsushi now has 16 minutes to figure out what the thief is planning before midnight arrives and catch him-if he can.
