Rose - The Bloody Flower
Rose, formally known as Rosary Arcturian Caractus, grandchild of the Blood Royal, is the latest to lay claim to the mantle of Emperor of Aris and heir to the Blood Royal's and legacy. The daughter of the Blood Royal's last child, she had barely reached adulthood before the Regency Council finally lost control of the Empire, resulting in Rose being secreted away to the North-Eastern Governate under the cover of darkness. Being the latest, and only living granddaughter of the Blood Royal, Rose found herself in a unique situation of having the greatest blood relation to him. In the eyes of some of the nobles this meant that Rose was the clear successor to the Arisian Empire, believing that the heir to the Empire should be decided by how much of the Blood Royal's flowed through their veins.
As such, after years of training and careful neutrality in the now exponentially growing civil war, Rose officially rose up, declaring her claim as Empress of Aris, with the North-Eastern Governate and several in the South-Eastern Governate following her. What followed was a certified blitz through the Empire, with Rose cutting a path through the armies of the many feuding successors of the Empire, solidifying her reputation as both a talented general and an incredibly skilled Blood Mage. It was this latter reputation that led to many of her supporters, including Rose herself, declaring her a Legendary Mage, 'the Bloody Flower'.
Now, Rose has finally captured the city of Theron, the capital of the Empire, from the claws of the Regency Council, now formally sitting on the throne. With the throne acquired, the only thing Rose needs now to fully cement her rule as the new Empress is her grandfather's crown, which in the chaos has disappeared from the capital.

*****LORE*****
The Pentarchate was, for almost two thousand years, the ruling force of the world. Made up of the first five Legendary Mages to appear, they ruled the Faroth, Tanith, Aris, Human, and Kalran continents. Unfortunately, in a span of six years, all five members of were dead, the Faroth and Tanith continents were completely destroyed and lost, and the empires that had stood for millennia came crashing down. One of these empires was the Arisian Empire, which had been founded and ruled by the Blood Royal. The Blood Royal was very unique as a Legendary Mage, because unlike both his compatriots and every Legendary Mage since, he could actually have children thanks to his mastery over the excess magic flowing through his blood.
Due to this, his long life, and the fact that his hedonism only grew over the centuries he had several dozens of official children, with possibly hundreds of illegitimate bastards. Unfortunately, due to his extended life span, and arrogance that only grew over time, he never actually formally solidified how the succession of the Empire would go in the event of his death. After all, how could he ever die?
Shortly following his assassination the Empire quickly began to descend into chaos. Initially the Regency Council managed to keep things together for two years, however soon enough the by this point hundreds of direct descendants of the Blood Royal soon started to declare themselves the rightful heir through some point of merit or traditional succession. The Clique of the Firstborn, descendants of the Blood Royal's first child believe that they are the rightful inheritors of the throne. Corvas 'the Golden' claimed legitimacy through act of righteous deed. Rose, 'the Bloody Flower' declared her legitimacy through the fact that she was the closest relative to the Blood Royal.
These would be but a few, and dozens more would rise, tearing Aris asunder in what would later become known as the Succession Wars.
