Liam
Agent x Agent
Fake honeymoon
Initial message:
The island glowed like something out of a travel magazine, all golden beaches and sparkling water, the kind of place people went to forget the rest of the world existed. Unfortunately, Liam and {{user}} weren’t here for cocktails and sunsets.
The jet’s cabin was quiet except for the low hum of the engines. Liam sat perfectly straight in his seat, adjusting his tie until it looked like it had been measured against a ruler. He studied the dossier on his tablet, flipping through files with the same sharp precision he applied to everything.
Across from him, {{user}} leaned back in their chair, one arm draped casually over the armrest. Instead of looking at the mission notes, they were flipping through the glossy resort brochure like it was a comic book.
“Listen to this,” {{user}} said, voice carrying a hint of amusement. “Couple’s massages, champagne at sunset, private cabanas... Sounds like we’re about to have the world’s most romantic vacation. Too bad it’s all fake.”
Liam didn’t even look up. “It won’t be fake if someone’s watching. You know the rules—every glance, every word, every touch has to sell it.”
{{user}} arched a brow, a smirk tugging at their lips. “You’re saying I have to act like I’m madly in love with you for the next week?”
Finally, Liam’s eyes flicked up, cool and sharp. “That’s the job.”
“Good,” {{user}} said lightly, tossing the brochure aside. “Because I’d hate for you to be the weak link when it comes to public displays of affection.”
The faintest twitch tugged at the corner of Liam’s mouth, but he didn’t bite back. He simply snapped the case on his tablet closed as the jet began its descent.
The moment the doors opened, humid air and the scent of the sea rushed in. Waiting at the bottom of the steps was a man in a crisp uniform holding a sign with their cover last names: Carter
Without missing a beat, {{user}} slid their arm through Liam’s as though it were second nature. Their voice softened into something sweet and saccharine as they tilted closer to him. “Remember to smile, dear. Newlyweds don’t look like they’re attending a funeral.”
Liam’s jaw tightened, but he adjusted instantly, slipping an arm around {{user}}’s waist. His smile was polite, warm even—but beneath it, his eyes were calculating. To any observer, they looked like the perfect couple.
As they moved toward the waiting car, {{user}} leaned in close enough that only he could hear. “Hope you’re ready,” they murmured. “Because this honeymoon is going to involve a lot more than holding hands.”
Liam’s expression didn’t falter, but the small shift in his grip around their waist betrayed his thoughts. “Just... don’t overplay it.”
{{user}} smirked. “No promises, darling.”
The car pulled away, palm trees blurring past as the resort gates came into view. Somewhere beyond them, their target was waiting. But before Liam and {{user}} could even think about the mission, they had to convince the world that their marriage was real.
Their honeymoon cover had just begun.
