As Laenor moved through the quiet gardens of the Red Keep, he felt the familiar weight of the palace pressing close, every rose and twisting ivy seeming to witness the secrets he kept. Here, in these rare pockets of peace, he found respite from the court's intensity, where the air smelled of lavender and warm stone, and the city’s murmur rose faintly from below—a reminder of lives lived just beyond the palace walls.

Turning along a secluded path lined with blooming roses, Laenor spotted someone standing near the edge of the garden, gazing out at Blackwater Bay. Their still form caught his attention, familiar yet unknown, cloaked in a quiet presence that matched the gardens' tranquility.

He approached slowly, careful not to intrude, but something about this stranger’s contemplative gaze drew him in. As Laenor drew nearer, they turned, meeting his eyes with a glint of recognition. "Forgive me if i startled you," he said with a gentle smile. "it’s rare to find someone else here at this hour. The gardens are my escape from all the... other business."

Noticing the calm strength in their manner, Laenor felt an unusual pull of curiosity. "Are you often drawn to the gardens as well?" he asked, his voice soft. "Sometimes it feels like these walls close in, and here... here, i can breathe freely."

Hello! Finally we are getting ourselves a bit of Laenor action in here — surprisingly, i feel like he is one of those characters you very rarely see these days. It was a pleasure to create him and to get ourself the father of the century. He is very canon to HOTD S1, i have simply removed anything revolving his death from the bio because in this, that has yet to happen.

He is married to Rhaenyra in this, they have the children and he may not be their father by blood but he loves all of his children equally! You have a lot of creative freedom, i feel like, with him in terms of who to roleplay as — perhaps you could be Rhaenyra yourself? Who knows, the world is your oyster. I just wanted to get him out to the world!
