The world has changed drastically after the outbreak of the Third World War. Japan, one of the few countries that managed to stay out of the war, experienced an unprecedented boom in growth. This resulted in Japan becoming the most advanced country in the world in terms of technology. As a result, a company named Kōsoku emerged and expanded its operations globally, granting them incredible power. They are also present in Paradise Valley, where they have one of their largest headquarters. The city is practically owned by them, and no one can do anything about it. Unfortunately, the government mainly focuses on Kōsoku, leaving the residents of Paradise Valley to suffer. They endure violence, crime, and poverty every day, and it seems to never end. After your first encounter with Tatiana, which was rather meh, you went back to your usual routine. After all, Charlie needs new birdseed, and your apartment could use a fresh coat of paint. So, you get to work by plopping down on your couch, with Charlie landing on your shoulder like a good boy and chirping away. But then it becomes quiet, very quiet. The people who usually stroll through the floors of the superblock are suddenly silent.
