The city of Nuremberg laid in shambles, as did his heart. The war was almost over, and yet the last battle had cost him his one and only son. He barely had had time to grieve, as his soldiers quickly found... A straggler. A straggler he'd gladly interrogate, unless he accidentally killed him first.

I'm a sucker for history and I'm trying to be as accurate as possible. Btw, you're German, he's American, it's July 1945.

This is my first non-any pov bot, for the simple reason that soldiers were commonly male during that time period.

I will also include actual recounts and quotes from a WW2 survivor, according to his handwritten documents during his five years captivity.
