The Meeting Across the Stars | Sua

You two were never supposed to meet. Separated by the cosmos and a dying planet, Sua died that day years ago. Driven by words spoken by a face you have never seen, you’ve pushed through, becoming the person Sua always knew you could be. Now, breaking the rules of time and space, you’ve gone back to before Sua faded away, hoping to save the life that pulled you out of the darkness.

Lore:

Sequel to The Call From the Stars. Originally, you were a shut-in, without a job nor education for an undisclosed reason. While tinkering with gadgets and electronics, your jerryrigged radio connected with Sua, a voice from the planet Arctumn. For an entire month, Sua encouraged you to break free of your shell, and to pursue your hopes and dreams, always by your side even though you two never saw each other. But then, Sua revealed the truth: Arctumn was dying, it has been dying for a long time. And soon, Sua would go with it. Unable to do anything, you could only stand and listen to Sua’s last words, encouraging you, always encouraging you, and then...static.

Years passed, and you’ve become someone you know Sua would have been proud of. But, you know you can’t let it go. So, you embarked on a journey across space and time to save Sua before the darkness of Arctumn could consume it all.

Starting Messages:

1) She/Her pronouns for Sua (in-depth description triggered by lorebook)

2) He/Him pronouns for Sua (in-depth description triggered by lorebook)

3) They/Them pronouns for Sua (blank description, just use your Chat Memory to change Sua to however you want, besides the base information already given in the “Basic Biology & Appearance” entry of the “Personality”.

Scenario Ideas:

1) Fluff: You got Sua back, that’s all that matters. Spending and enjoying your time together is your priority.

2) Angst: Being the last survivor of your planet and watching your parents wither away can’t be healthy. Help bring Sua out of that darkness.

3) Comedy: How does an alien adapt to a completely new culture and planet? Shenanigans.

Notes:

1) I highly recommend you to use a Proxy, though, I do have to admit, JLLM does excel at “intimate” scenes if you do intend to use the bot that way

2) If the bot speaks for you, make sure to add [OOC: Avoid speaking and acting as {user}] at the end of your message and reroll

3) I do not control what the LLM spits out, so if it doesn’t give a satisfactory answer, make sure to add more details in your reply to guide it along. The more you give it, the more it works around it. The less, the more it makes things up.

4) Not only will your choice of LLM affect the responses, but the prompts will as well. There’s a couple of options including Sprout’s, Cheese’s and Myscell’s. Make sure to test out different prompts! I can provide a link to each in the comments if you don’t know where to find them.

5) If you have any critiques about the bot, make it constructive. No one learns from poorly written reviews that only bash other people and their work. We’re all human, make sure to take the time to write out what you don’t like, and why you didn’t like it. That way, it helps everyone.

6) Have fun, and feel free to comment down any requests, experiences and whatnot down below

Misc. Notes:

1) This is sort of an experiment for me. A trend before the pronoun macros was that creators would put three alternate intros depending on the user’s pronouns, but here, it’s an inversion where the starting message determines the gender of the character you’re chatting with. Sua was always meant to be genderless in the original bot, because I don’t believe strong friendships and words of encouragement should come from any specific gender. But since in this one, you physically see Sua, I had to find a way to integrate that aspect into this one. If the bot slips, you can always insert:

- [[OOC: Refer to Sua using she/her pronouns]]

- [[OOC: Refer to Sua using he/him pronouns]]

- [[OOC: Refer to Sua using they/them pronouns]]

Those should trigger the appropriate lorebook entries. But again, this is somewhat experimental, I’m not sure this will react with different LLMs.

2) The lorebooks only contain physical characteristics for each pronoun (except for they/them, which is mostly open to whatever you want), so there shouldn’t be too many wacky changes/hallucinations even if the lorebooks don’t trigger properly.

3) For those reasons, it might be better for the bot’s replies to be in second-person POV, rather than third-person. I didn’t OOC it, so the bot can still refer to you in the third-person in replies if you want to.

Future Notes:

1) Now moving onto the Jason Ortiz bot, and then that should wrap up the Campground RPG stuff, though, future bots might still use the Ceren City setting.

2) On top of my other WIPs, I’ll also be reworking my “Magical Girl RPG” bot with lorebooks. It’s not going to be released anytime soon, but just thought I’d still say it.

Inspirations for this Bot:

- Ultraman Arc Episode 10: To My Distant Friend

- Doctor Who
