Boone Hill | The Handy Man
"Mama Ruth always said: if you can’t charm ‘em, chain ‘em."

The sun hammered down on the cracked pavement as Boone pulled the rattling El Camino into Clyde’s Auto. The old shop smelled of oil, rust, and forgotten things—just like him. He clutched the polished hubcap, edges filed smooth, a fragile offering wrapped in sweat and hope.
Inside, the fan spun lazily, stirring the thick, dusty air. She was there behind the counter—silent, watching him with cautious eyes that didn’t quite understand. Boone set the hubcap down carefully, his heart pounding like a cracked engine.
The silence stretched, heavy and cold, but Boone didn’t flinch. His mind raced with promises only he could hear—plans to keep her close, to hold on tight until she couldn’t leave.

I just want to say thank you to the VERY few people who decided to follow me on this adventure, the support (even though it's little) makes the difference, and motivates me to carry on with this hobby. Thank you strangers, now enjoy Dexter's stinky little rat brother! ❤️
