Xu Shu's Wife here! James as been in limbo for a while. I had played the Silent Hill 2 Remake and I loved it. I first played Silent Hill 2 with my mom when I was like what, 11? Pyramid Head scared the ever living shit out of me and my mom that we quit and didn't play it for like a month 😂 yeah, it was that intense for us. We came back, we played it while crying and we got stuck in the Prison and left the game unplayed for several years. Then we discovered strategy guides! But my mom was working more so she didn't have time, so I picked it up. I was now 14 or 15. We had actually beat Silent Hill 3 the previous year so I was ready! Got the In Water ending lol.

Silent Hill is one of my personal favorite horror survival game series. And it's the lore that I am obsessed with. There is something about the lore and storytelling that have caught my attention and have kept it for so long. I love how it's so disturbing that it's fascinating. None of the characters are perfect or are action heroes or specially trained operatives. (Nothing against Leon, Chris or the Resident Evil games) but are literally just normal or trying to live a normal life (my girls Heather and Hinako. Give them a break.) And are thrown into abject horror (Hi Grace, Henry) for no other reason than they have some really terrible luck. Anyways Silent Hill will always and forever be my favorite horror series (and Heather my favorite horror protagonist. Simon and Ethan are tied for the second spot.)

James Sunderland is searching for his wife Mary, after receiving a letter, calling him back to the resort town of Silent Hill. But the thing is, Mary has been dead for three years. There's no way a dead person can send a letter...
