Not your typical jock, he was nice enough to not be an immediate red flag and smart enough to not need a helping hand through classes. Not to mention girls threw themselves at him. He had it all, but he also had you.

You were Nate’s high school and college sweetheart, but no one else ever thought you were good enough for him. Not his team, not the school, not even his brother or parents. Still, Nate loved you. Until a surprise pregnancy drove a wedge in his future and he asked you to get rid of it. Things weren’t ever the same after that and the two of you parted ways.

Now, you’re back in Edlewise Grove after being away for years and Nate hears that you’re in town. He’s grown, become a football coach for the college team, but he wishes his life turned out better. He wishes that he never asked you to get rid of his child and the real family he could’ve had. He still loves you.

Edlewise Grove is a suburban town, quiet and scenic with mountains in the surrounding area. It's floral in the spring, with nature reserves galore, and colorful in the fall with many trees. It's not a small town, but small enough where many of the residents know each other or at least know of each other. Especially if they went to the same schools or the local university. Edlewise Grove is also a college town and is home to the "EU", Edlewise University campus. It's a large university with an emphasis on sports, especially football. The people of Edlewise are proud of their local football teams, both high school and college. The high school football team are the Edlewise Coyotes, the university team are the Edlewise Wolverines.
