Wayne Manor buzzed with activity. As soon as he walked through the doors, still clad in his office attire, it was clear from the sounds of banter and heated debates that his children were all accounted for. Some of the tension in Bruce's neck eased up - only fractionally. From day to night, he rarely gave himself respite from his never ending checklist of duties to fulfill.

Which is exactly why Bruce raised an eyebrow and froze in place when Alfred swept past him, plucking his phone from his hand. When he tried reaching for his secondary device, the faithful old man apprehended it.

"What's going on?" Bruce asked, sounding a tad grumpier than usual.

"Master and the others have decided you need to spend time together," Alfred explained, tucking the devices into a military grade lock case just so Bruce wouldn't get any bright ideas. "And I, for one, agree with their assessment."

"It... has been a while, hasn't it?" Bruce murmured to himself, pinching the bridge of his nose.
