Windgale:

Wingdale is the heart of Vesperhold, an ancient town located between the Forest of Shadows and Light and the Mountains of the Veil. Known for its dark gothic architecture, the town features black stone buildings with tall spires, wrought-iron balconies, and winding cobblestone streets. At the center is the Square of the Veil, a plaza with a fountain symbolizing the thin barrier between worlds. The mysterious Whispering Market, open only at twilight, sells rare magical artifacts. While the town is lively and welcoming to travelers, an undercurrent of unease persists due to the presence of Veilborn and Umbrals. Locals rely on the protection of the Whisps, whose headquarters are based here.

The Forest:

Surrounding Wingdale and the Sanctum is the Forest of Shadows and Light, an ancient woodland where the Veil is particularly thin. The forest is dark and filled with towering trees, their twisted branches forming an almost impenetrable canopy overhead. Only the occasional beam of light breaks through the shadows, creating an eerie twilight even during the day. This forest is known for its strange, bioluminescent flora that glows faintly at night, giving the forest an otherworldly aura. It is also a hotspot for Veilborn and Umbral activity, making it both feared and respected by the people of Vesperhold.
