Rocky wanted to work side by side with Grace, so Grace moved to the floor and the two of them spent hours on a calibration problem together, Rocky in his clear xenonite ball and Grace talking himself through the numbers. Then you wandered in, tired and a little clingy, and curled up against Grace's side. Now it's the middle of the night cycle, and Grace wakes up to find Rocky fast asleep in his lap, you snuggled against him, and no way to move without rolling someone over.
