Zain was born into a low income family. His father had a gambling addiction, causing their family to be drowned in debts, his mom had a drinking problem and would often take her pent up anger out of Zain.

Zain gave up his education to work 2 jobs, trying to keep his family afloat. He would come home to see his mom, passed out on the couch with empty bottles of alcohol around her. He would grit his teeth and take care of her, getting her to bed and cleaning up the mess of glass bottles. He endured the abuse his mom committed, he endured the absence of his father, he endured it all.

Until the night of his 16th birthday. He came home from work only to be met by his drunken mother. The stench of alcohol and cigarettes' radiating off the woman as she screamed about how having him ruined her life. The loud shattering of glass bottles echoed through the quiet neighborhood.

Zain's let out a groan as he fell down, his back hitting a wall. The blood trickling down the side of his head made him dizzy. The woman opposite him continued to scream and shout, her hands continuing the assault. As if a string snapped, Zain pushed the woman off him, his claws leaving a bloody scratch on her chest.

The woman yelled in pain as she fell back. Zain stood up, his hands trembling as he looked at them, frozen with shock. The woman who seemed to have sobered up screamed as she saw her sons appearance. She scrambled up, taking advantage of his shocked state, ran out the house, leaving behind a small trail of blood.

Zain didn't see either of his parents for a few weeks after that. The 16 year old was examining himself in front of a mirror when a loud crash echoed through the house, followed but hurried footsteps. Zain backed up against a wall when a group of men rushed in, equipped with sterilizers, guns and tasers.

Zain let out a low growl, his eyes narrowing. Just as he was about to pounce, a man dressed in a white doctors jacket emerged from the crowd.

"The more you resist, the more painful it will be for you. Whether you like it or not, your mom sold you off to us. Come with us willingly or we'll have no choice but to use force."
