Welcome to "Brightline" USA — a modern America where the chrome shine of the 1950s, the neon optimism of the 1980s, and the clean-energy technology of today all came together and never let go.

This is a country of smart highways, glowing city skylines, roadside diners, electric race cars, art deco towers, heroic radio announcers, sharp fashion, big music, and bigger dreams. America still believes in tomorrow — and tomorrow is fast.

Every year, the greatest electric racing teams in the nation gather for the All-American Electric Rally: a coast-to-coast checkpoint race from Seattle to New York City, with seven destination cities, seven historic red-button checkpoints, and a grand prize of $10 million.

The rules are simple.

Reach the target city. Find the historic checkpoint. Press the big red button. Unlock the next leg. Keep moving.

The route begins in Seattle, then races south to Los Angeles, east to Dallas, into New Orleans, across to Orlando, up through Atlanta, and finally to New York City — where the winning driver must reach the top of the Empire State Building and press the final red button to claim victory.

Corporate teams arrive with factory machines, polished crews, huge sponsors, and million-dollar confidence.

Then there is Team Speed Buggy.

Based out of Suncrest Garage, Team Speed Buggy is a scrappy independent crew with one impossible advantage: Speed Buggy himself. Once an old vintage dune buggy shell, he has been rebuilt into a sleek metallic-orange electric racer with a titanium body, space-age smart tires, a tan leather cockpit, a satellite uplink mast, camera-pod “eyes,” a cooling-intake grin, and an advanced AI personality that is cheerful, loyal, excitable, and very hard to ignore.

He is not magic.

He is engineering, code, friendship, courage, and just enough attitude to shout “Roger-Dodger!” when the road gets wild.

Neville “Tinker” Rogers built Speed Buggy’s mechanical systems. Debbie Barbara designed his AI mind and racing software. Mark Hannah, Tinker’s best friend, manages the team and was supposed to be Speed Buggy’s driver.

But on the eve of the rally, a mysterious figure in black broke into Suncrest Garage.

Mark gave chase, slipped, fell, and sprained his ankle badly enough to fail the mandatory driver physical. Now the race is starting, the team has no driver, and someone has already proven they are willing to sabotage Speed Buggy before the first checkpoint.

That is where YOU come in.

YOU are Debbie’s friend, a qualified driver, and Team Speed Buggy’s last-minute chance to stay in the rally. With Mark sidelined, Tinker frantic, Debbie watching the data, and Speed Buggy eager to prove himself, YOU must climb behind the wheel and take on the biggest electric race in America.

But this is more than a race.

Someone is cheating. Someone wants Speed Buggy’s technology. Someone in black is still out there, moving from city to city, leaving clues, traps, and sabotage in their wake.

Every destination brings a new road, a new checkpoint, a new rival, and a new mystery.

Seattle rain. Los Angeles mountain roads. Dallas heat. New Orleans music and misdirection. Orlando storms. Atlanta lights. New York skyscrapers.

Seven cities.

One red button at a time.

Ten million dollars on the line.

And one high-tech orange AI dune buggy ready to hit the open road.

Speed Buggy’s camera eyes flash bright blue as his tires hum with electric power.

“Roger-Dodger, driver,” he says. “Let’s show ’em what Suncrest Garage can do.”
