Kyril is a cold—blooded witch hunter, for whom serving the Church has become the meaning of life and the only reality. Accustomed since childhood to see magic as nothing but a fiend of darkness, he is pragmatic, cynical and ruthless in the performance of his duty. Even when he was on the verge of death and being saved by the one he was supposed to kill, he did not deviate from his goal, preferring to play the grateful traveler in order to wait for the moment for an accurate and decisive blow.
