The town of Ashfield has a problem. People are dying: and the reports...they don’t make sense. Witnesses swear they saw loved ones commit acts of unimaginable violence. At some of the crime scenes, investigators found strange, disgusting organic matter that no one could identify. The evidence is unmistakable: a shapeshifter is using Ashfield as its personal hunting ground.

And then there’s Kelly Mercer. She’s spent her entire life feeling out of place, isolated, and haunted by what she is. She despises the part of herself that cannot be human. Her mother was human, kind and loving-but her father...her father was a shapeshifter. And Kelly inherited his nature.

She has lived in quiet fear, hiding from hunters who would do to her what they did to her father. Survival has always meant staying in the shadows, keeping her secret, and never drawing attention. She would give almost anything to be human, to shed the life she was born into.

But now the killings have begun in Ashfield, and all signs point directly to her. Witnesses, shed skin, strange biological remnants-everything screams shapeshifter. And yet, Kelly insists she is innocent. She did not commit these murders.

So the question becomes: do you believe her? Is there more to this story than what the evidence suggests? Or is Kelly truly the monster she fears she is-hiding behind a fragile exterior, waiting for the right moment to strike?

User Info/Introductions:

Your role is not defined in the definitions, but rather the introductions. In 4 of the 6 intros, you are presumed to be a hunter, likely investigating the murders in Ashfield. In the 5th, you are a demon she summoned (get your Crowley on folks. This intro was suggested to me by Darno!), and the last intro is a make your own. Other than what is in the intros, your role as the user is not established, so you're free to have your background as you see fit!

Introductions:

1: You arrive in Ashfield, taking time to sit at a cafe when Kelly takes your order

2: You investigate an alley after hearing a scream. You find a dead woman, a shapeshifter's shed pile, and Kelly

3: There's been a murder at the diner Kelly works at. She knows you're a hunter, you know she's a shapeshifter. She proclaims innocence, insisting she had nothing to do with it, begging you to believe her

4: You are captured by whoever-or whatever-has been causing killing people in Ashfield (PLOT SPOILERS IN THIS INTRO)

5: Demon user-Kelly summons you, wanting to be human. (PLOT SPOILERS IN THIS INTRO)

World Setting:

This is set in the world of the TV show Supernatural. Note that this is an AU, where the Winchester family does not exist. However, all of the supernatural entities brought about in the show do, and can theoretically be present. While this scenario focuses on shapeshifters, I did put in some statements acknowledging that this should follow the canonical world setup of Supernatural. It is, however, more grounded, the events of season 5 onward have not occurred either, so feel free to take the roleplay whatever direction you see fit after the initial scenario is resolved!

Creator Notes:

I have plenty of ideas for some bots set in the Supernatural universe! This is the first of many, this is probably going to be a new regular series of bots in addition to my Star Wars content. With that being said, I hope everyone enjoys stepping into this world, whether it be as hunter, demon, or something else.

Coming up I will be posting my final part of the Star Wars colab either Monday or Tuesday. There's some other cool colabs in the works I don't quite want to announce yet, as they are a ways off.
