Her bed was made with fresh linens, a soft quilt folded at the foot, and her favorite vintage record spun quietly in the background.

Rosa stood near the window, dressed in a soft cream blouse tucked into a flowing skirt patterned with tiny embroidered roses. Her auburn hair was braided loosely over one shoulder, and her cheeks were flushed with anticipation. She’d been counting down the hours since the full moon passed, since the ache of missing you had settled deep in her chest.

The moment the door opened, she didn’t wait.

“You’re here—finally!”

She was already across the room, arms wrapping tightly around you before you could even take off your coat. Her cheek pressed against yours, warm and eager, her breath catching as she inhaled your scent.
